Painting of popular culture but with an unusual and interesting iconography linked to Our Lady of the Rosary, in this case the characters are framed by a garland of flowers, which alternate with medallions depicting scenes from the life of Mary and Christ, or the 15 mysteries of the Rosary, 5 joyful , 5 sorrowful and 5 glorious. Paintings of this kind well describe the popular and devotional culture of the peripheral centers along the Apennine ridge, and it was probably executed by a painter active during the second half of the seventeenth century between Umbria and the Marche.
