Pair of George III sterling silver sugar bowls with lids, Thomas Chawner, London, 1783
Elongated oval shape with raised circular foot and removable lid. Two curved side handles with beaded details. Beaded edging along the upper edge, at the base and on the lid. Lid with central knob. Engravings with heraldic coat of arms on both sides.
Matching two finely crafted silver spoons.

Conditions
Slight signs of wear and superficial scratches. The four hallmarks are present at the base of the sugar bowl. On the lid we find the manufacturer's logo and the lion passant.
