Two Oriental Women Figures in Pink Coral, carved from two branches of pink coral of different sizes and workmanship. These are two women with long robes resting on two oval wooden bases with horizontal grooves. In perfect condition, of Japanese origin, made around 1960. Pink coral is a very rare and precious variety, with a delicate pink hue, which grows mainly in the Pacific Ocean. It has a very fine grain, which is quite difficult to work with; for this reason, its value reaches higher prices than those of corals with more common colors.
