Large Renaissance portal in carved and inlaid wood, Lombardy-Veneto area.
Projecting architectural cap sculpted with flowers, leaves, and a central winged putto head. The cap rests on two inlaid pilasters and two carved acanthus leaf capitals. Two bases with rosettes complete the structure.
The portal was then made into an aedicule with wooden additions in the lower central part and on the sides to maintain stability. Originally, it was a portal resting against the wall and maintains all its original parts from the 16th century.
Measurements: height 266 cm, width at the cap 230 cm, width at the base 210 cm, depth at the cap 56 cm, depth at the base 41 cm.
