Description: Antique Neapolitan Louis Philippe desk in mahogany feather with chiselled leather top, dating back to the first half of the 19th century. The top features a chiselled leather covering with 24kt gold, bordered by a mahogany feather edging. The front is marked by five drawers embellished with bone escutcheons, including the large one topped by a leather-covered writing surface. The legs have a curvilinear design embellished with a foliage motif carving and joined by mixtilinear crossbars. The opposite side is a mirror image of the main side. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method. Origin: Naples, 19th century. Measurements: Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
