Portrait of a Gentleman 1800, rectangular in shape, masterfully painted in watercolor on paper, depicting the portrait of a noble gentleman placed in three-quarter view. The miniature has a modern frame and requires two small retouches in the middle right and top left, as visible in the photos. Probably of English origin, it dates back to the first half of the 1800s. On the back of the frame, on the lining, we find the label J.H. Blight, Carver, Gilger Picture Frame Manufacturer, 2 Bath Street Jersey.
