Pair of Light Green and Gold Italian Columns with Doric Capital, 20th Century

Pair of Light Green Lacquered Columns, 20th Century, two columns with Doric capitals with carved and gilded elements, built in beech wood. They have a circular fluted shaft, rest on square bases and end in the upper part with square tops measuring 23 x 23 cm. The lacquer consists of several superimposed shades of green which give the columns a particular lightness. They are exclusively interior furnishing elements, ideal as a base and pedestal for sculptures, lamps or vases, they were made around 1960 and are in good stability and in a good state of conservation, regardless of minimal consumption of the finish and signs of wear.
They come from a private Milanese villa. The origin is Italian and dates back to the second half of the twentieth century.
