Description:
Interesting and rare two-handled pharmacy jar decorated with a Persian palmette in sapphire blue with orange flowers on white enamel that adorns and surrounds the central cartouche "Diacodion Comp". A type of decoration typical of this Florentine production in the chronological period referable to the first half of the 16th century.
The jar is in excellent condition and has no breaks.
Period: second quarter of the 16th century
Height 31cm.
