Refined Louis XV mirror from the 18th century, in finely carved and gold leaf gilded wood, of Italian manufacture.
The frame is richly sculpted, featuring a shaped crest and a decorated lower crosspiece, typical of the 18th-century taste.
The mirror retains its original mercury glass, with characteristic period deterioration, and original glass inserts, elements of particular interest.
In excellent general condition, consistent with its age; a conservative restoration is required.
An object of great charm and decorative value, ideal for period settings or collections of 18th-century mirrors.
