Mahogany trumeau. The upper section has a bevelled and moulded glass door at the top, with three height-adjustable shelves inside. The central flap door is supported by pull-out slides, with a leather insert on the internal surface. The desk section has seven open letter compartments and six small drawers with worked bronze knobs. The base has four drawers, bronze handles and flush keyhole escutcheons, and bracket feet. England, mid-19th century. Product condition: Due to its age and wear, this product requires restoration and repolishing.
