Giuseppe Di Ciolo was an
anarchist sculptor from Pisa in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, known above all for being the father of Spartaco Di Ciolo, also a Futurist sculptor, and for having artistically trained his son. Giuseppe, trained in Florence under Augusto Rivalta, had a significant figure in the artistic context of Lucca, influencing the subsequent career of his son Spartaco, born in Vallauris in 1900
