Terracotta bust signed at the bottom right Dimensions: 48cm height 33cm width Small marks and defects on the face Giuseppe Di Ciolo was an anarchist sculptor from Pisa in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, known above all for being the father of Spartaco Di Ciolo, also a Futurist sculptor, and for having artistically trained his son. Giuseppe, trained in Florence under Augusto Rivalta, had a significant figure in the artistic context of Lucca, influencing the subsequent career of his son Spartaco, born in Vallauris in 1900  Translated
