Height: 11 cm
Width: 11 cm

Description:
A figurative sculpture depicting a bison, made of bronze. The animal is captured with its head down and its body weight projected forward, a compositional solution that gives a feeling of restrained strength and controlled movement.
The rendering of the coat is more animated in the front area, where the mass of the fleece is defined by an irregular and more marked modeling, while the rest of the body has smoother and more continuous surfaces. The dark patina of the bronze, with slight tonal variations, helps to highlight the contrast between the different textures and to strengthen the volumetric reading of the figure.
The sculpture is placed on a rectangular base in dark marble.
