This beautiful solid walnut chest, the work of a Lombard carver, is shown with a front with a single panel which, in the central part, is embellished by the shape of the noble coat of arms of the commissioning family; the coat of arms shows an oblique band with four spheres impressed, accompanied by two stars, one at the top and one at the bottom.
The panel is finally completed, at its extremities, by a pair of six-pointed half-rosettes.
The body of the chest rests on a base with a richly carved, thick bacellature.
The chest is complete with original lock and hinges.
Very good state of conservation. Cleaning and polishing has been carried out.
The furniture, like all our objects, is sold with a certificate of authenticity.
