Description:
Refined and unique small fall-front desk in solid mahogany wood, finely carved. The piece of furniture features turned legs, with feet ending in scrolls. The fall-front desk has a drawer, practical and functional for storing small objects, and a hinged top that can be used as a writing desk. In addition, the geometric wood carving decoration at the top functions as a handle for lifting the panel, covered in red fabric, probably used as a fire screen. It is a piece of furniture of great taste and class, able to furnish any environment with elegance. Leghorn (Livorno, Tuscany, Italy) manufacture, in the style of Victorian English furniture, from the mid-19th century.
