Rare secretaire from the early phase of the Viennese Biedermeier period, in practically intact condition, with exquisite "feminine" dimensions, veneered in burr and flamed walnut, with interiors resembling a classic temple portal, in maple and ebonized details. Secret compartments. Dimensions: 143 x 87 x 38 cm. In practically intact condition. Finished with shellac applied using a museum-standard technique on the original first patina. With a sober and elegant line, also excellent for combining with high-end modern pieces for a unique, exclusive, and refined elegance. Featuring the warm color of the antique walnut feather patina with a real shellac finish. The master cabinetmakers of the Biedermeier period knew the locations where the best trees grew and kept it a secret.
