Restoration Daybed in Wood Italy Second Quarter 19th Century

Open Restoration daybed, in carved and gilded wood. Lower band with Neoclassical carvings, as well as the turned feet, uprights of the back and sides culminating in curls, elegantly adorned with inserts in embroidered fabric with Neoclassical themes, enclosed by gilded moldings. The front inserts are very degraded. Padded back, sides and seat, missing cushions. Italy, second quarter of the 19th century.
