Elegant terracotta tub with pedestal from Signa, finely decorated. The object features a tall bisome column pedestal, with a molded base and classic Pompeian-style decorations, such as ovolos, rosettes, vases, and floral decorations. The tub, which also features classic decorations, has an elliptical shape, with the short sides characterized by protruding leaves, while the long sides feature scenes of characters and dancing putti, reminiscent of the depictions found on classic sarcophagi. This tub, of great taste and refinement, can be used as a planter, due to the presence of drainage holes for water, or as a decorative object, capable of furnishing any environment with class and elegance. Florentine manufacture from the early 20th century.
