Crank melodica piano, late 1800s, musical instrument invented by Giovanni Racca in 1888 in Bologna.
The perforated cardboard was inserted into the upper part of the piano, thanks to a lateral device it ran by turning the lateral crank, the position of the holes and their shape defined the sequence of the notes and their intensity and their length.
This melodica piano was painted in the early 1900s, it needs restoration.
