Pair of Louis XV Friezes 1750 Scrolling Foliate Carving Ex Mirror copings in good age related condition, with gilding defects and restorations,gilded in gold-leaf on a preparation of Armenian red bole. Most likely they were born as mirror copings, the feet were added and are later than mid-18th century. Despite the complexity of the Rococo taste decorative motif,it is a right and a left, i.e. the carvings are reflected. They can be used as over door decorations or as simple wall decorations.
