Very rare antique Kazakh prayer rug from the 19th century, in excellent condition.

Antique Kazakh prayer rug. Dated 1205 = approximately 1790. Extraordinary carpet from the nomads of the Caucasus. The dating, as could happen in the 19th century for this type of provenance, most likely does not correspond to the truth, but it cannot be excluded. In any case, this ancient tribal work was made before 1870. It is sold cautiously as from the 19th century. The opposite conformation of the back of the Mihrab is very rare and unusual. Attractive and warm natural colors are fully preserved. Fleece preserved. Limited wear on the ends, as normal in carpets of this era (see photo).
