Elegant painted terracotta bust, depicting Lorenzo de' Medici, known as the Magnificent (1449-1492). The bust recalls the famous portraits and features of the great lord of Florence, with a pensive and austere pose, a prominent nose, half-closed eyes, and long, thick hair. Further refinement is given by the paintings on the garment, in black, consisting of the representation of small and repeated Florentine lilies. This is a work of great taste and quality, capable of giving a touch of elegance and antiquity to any environment. Florentine manufacture of the mid-19th century.
