Miniature chest - lacquered and decorated wooden box, Tuscany
Description:
Small chest or miniature of a beech wood chest, lacquered and decorated with plant and floral racemes on all sides. It is an object from the Tuscan area, probably from the early 17th century. The measurements are 37cm x 17cm x 17cm. Good condition but the hinges of the top are missing, which we could have made by a trusted blacksmith if requested. We attach a certificate of authenticity to the sale.
