Vienna. 1810-15, rare Viennese First Empire column cabinet in near-perfect condition, veneered in burr walnut with cherry feather details. Original sandstone top. This type of circular furniture is particularly rare and sought after. In near-perfect condition, consolidated and polished with a museum-standard shellac finish applied with the tampon technique on the original patina. Measures h. cm.86, diam.40.5 min., maximum at the base cm.42
