Splendid fall-front desk probably from the Romagna area in the first half of the 18th century, with a serpentine front and flared sides, while the veneer is in walnut and rosewood with maple fillets dividing the different types of burr. The linings on the back and on the drawers are all coeval and are in fir wood, indicating that we can place it in the Apennine area between Marche and Romagna.
It is a fairly rare piece of furniture in excellent condition, as it is original in every part. If required, we will arrange the polishing and cleaning work with our trusted restorer. The furniture is offered at a bargain price.
Its measurements are 133cm of maximum width x 58cm x 107 cm of height.
