Description:
Carved and gilded wood console. Tripartite under-table band, with floral carvings and grotesque masks, supported by four richly carved moving legs with foliate and floral subjects, resting on a molded and carved base with acanthus leaves and ribbon. Centrally, it features a turned and carved column with lion heads and drapery. Ferine feet. Replaced gray marble top. Lombardy, last quarter of the 19th century.
