Refined temple clock, in finely carved walnut wood with inlays in fruit woods. The clock, which is covered by a glass bell included in the sale, is mounted on a rectangular base with small corbel feet. The object is enriched by floral and geometric inlays on the base and body, which give it great elegance. Further refinement is given by the gilded bronze details, such as the band around the dial and the pendulum, on which a triton is depicted between two horses, whose reins he holds. Finally, the clock features a dial with Roman numerals, and a Parisian mechanism with chimes, which strikes hours and half hours. It is a clock of great taste and class, capable of giving a touch of elegance to any environment. French manufacture from the Charles X period, around the mid-19th century.
