Pair of large Imari vases with lids from the second half of the 19th century. The vases feature domed lids topped with finials in the shape of Foo dogs. Baluster-shaped vases hand-decorated in the Imari palette with decorations on a white background, in shades of brick red and blue, with classic motifs of butterflies, pagodas, and floral designs. Excellent condition with no restorations and intact in all its parts.
