Refined oil painting on canvas, in a carved and gilded wooden frame. The painting depicts the portrait of Anna Manfrin Lamberti (1875-1920), a Venetian noblewoman, daughter of Senator Pietro Manfrin of Castione, and wife of the Florentine nobleman Pier Lamberto Mosca Lamberti. The woman is depicted standing, in front of an antique chest, with a Medici coat of arms and another noble coat of arms. Behind her are curtains, while next to her, sitting on the chest, is a dog. The portrait of the woman is distinguished by its realistic rendering and pictorial technique, in a smiling pose, wearing an elegant black dress, a shawl, and embellished with jewels. This painting, with its attention to detail and style, is of great taste and elegance, capable of furnishing any environment with a touch of refinement and history. The portrait is also signed in the upper left by the Florentine painter Giuseppe Cassioli (1865-1942), famous for both sculptures and paintings of great importance, and active both in Tuscany and in much of the world. Florentine manufacture (Florence, Italy) of the early 20th century.
