The Trionfi series, presented at the IV Triennale di Monza in 1930.
The splendours of ancient Rome are revisited by Gio Ponti in an allegorical key, as in Francesco Petrarca's poem I Trionfi, and the execution of the decorations in agate-pointed gold on a high-temperature blue background emphasizes the nobility of these representations.
