Center desk in walnut and walnut briar, Lombardy early 18th century.

Made of walnut and walnut burr with carved elements and two side doors and three small drawers placed under the writing surface; the side doors and central drawers are embellished with moldings and locks in shaped wood. The slightly shaped upper surface rests on a moving and articulated structure. The careful woodworking and the warm and varied grain of the burr wood give the furniture a refined appearance and great formal balance.
