Refined oil painting on canvas, in a carved and gilded wooden frame with contemporary gold leaf pastille. The painting depicts a landscape of the Venetian countryside (Northern Italy), with figures and characters proceeding to harvest the wheat, while another character grazes the oxen. In the distance, beyond the trees, a small town can also be glimpsed, with a church and bell tower. It is a painting of good workmanship and stylistic rendering, capable of giving richness and refinement to any environment. Manufacture attributable to the Venetian School, around the late eighteenth century.
