Carlo Stragliati completed his training at the Brera Academy.
He especially treated the figure in genre paintings, with particular dedication to important portraits of aristocrats. Very famous besides the oils, the sanguine, the pencil sketches and the watercolors. Many of his works are exhibited in Italian museums and foundations.
