Impressive solid walnut credenza, Provençal manufacture, datable to the second half of the 18th century. Moving line in the regional Louis XV style, significant proportions and beautiful uniformity of the patina. The front is organised with four panelled doors with shaped profiles and six drawers in the upper section, arranged three by three, with ring handles in wrought iron. Wrought iron escutcheons and locks, contemporary artisan workmanship. Richly shaped lower apron that lightens the structure, framed sides. Large interior with solid wood shelves. The back shows the antique construction with original planks and period nailing. Condition: Very good, with well-preserved historic patina. It should be noted that the only significant intervention was the replacement of all the legs at a later time, carried out with attention to the overall aesthetics.
