Description: Antique Neapolitan Louis XIV small chest of drawers in walnut root wood with bois de rose reserves. The entire surface in walnut root wood plays on the arrangement of the grain and the contrast of light and dark of the different inlays. The decoration is typical of the 18th century Neapolitan style with the classic contrasting reserve and the bronze shield on the lock. The two corners and the top are highlighted by elegant borders in wood arranged 'on end'. The front with three drawers is accentuated by a beautiful movement that is also repeated on the sides, with the wedge-shaped shoulders, a typical affectation of the Neapolitan cabinet makers of the period. The two cabriole legs have the classic cabriole shape and are connected by a mixtilinear apron.
