Square gaming table with four truncated pyramid legs; the top, inserted in a frame, is equipped with a release spring that allows it to be removed to access the storage compartment inserted in the band, or to be flipped to position the side covered by the playing cloth. The frame where the top is housed is inlaid with a ribbon-like Greek fret. The top has a large central reserve in quartered Indian rosewood, held in place by a frame inlaid with a motif of successive leaves, flanked by four wide borders containing alternating acanthus leaf motifs. In the corners, four small square reserves contain floral rosettes. The table is veneered in Indian rosewood, bois de rose, mahogany, walnut burl, maple, and boxwood.
