Pair of Early 20th Century Single Beds, Baroque Style
Description:
Pair of Baroque style beds made in the early decades of the 20th century. Completely curved and supported by wavy legs with hoof-shaped carved feet; the headboard and footboard are veneered with burr reserves held by bois de violette borders, with an inlaid frame in the center with floral motifs in boxwood that encloses a bois de rose insert arranged in a radial pattern; on the borders, carvings in solid wood in Baroque style.
