Description:
Vienna circa 1830-35, mature Biedermeier period. Refined and practical etagere in practically intact condition, finely veneered in walnut feather with mirrored slabs arranged with veins to recall the "flame", typical of the high Viennese cabinet making of the Biedermeier period. In practically intact condition, consolidated and with shellac finish applied with a museum standard technique on the original patina; warm amber and light color, of the original patina formed over the centuries on the luxurious essence of blond walnut. Measures cm. 140 high x 101 wide x 48 deep. Excellent for combining with high-end modern furniture in an ensemble of exclusive elegance.
