The antique painting 'Still Life with Flowers' features an Art Nouveau Vase of Flowers, a bouquet of fresh flowers with white and pink roses, accompanied by other spring flowers in shades of pink and violet, arranged in two ceramic vases, one turquoise and one ivory. Next to the vases, a teacup and saucer decorated with small floral motifs and a porcelain lid are visible. The background shows a light wall with soft, blended brushstrokes, leaving the flowers as the main focus. This is a beautiful oil painting on canvas, from the early 1900s, Art Deco. The antique oil painting has soft brushwork and an attention to color typical of the French school of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The floral subject is treated with grace and sensitivity, conveying domestic serenity and bourgeois refinement.
