The saint is represented with his gaze turned towards the viewer, holding a book in his left hand, a symbol of doctrine and spiritual wisdom. To the left of his face, a bishop's miter and a crown are distinguishable, attributes alluding to the ecclesiastical dignity and holiness of the personage.
Gilded frame finely carved with vegetal motifs and shells at the corners.
