CLOCK WITH WOODEN CASE INLAID LATE SEVENTEENTH CENTURY  Translated
Description:
Elegant table clock with walnut wood case and inlays in fruit woods. The clock case can be opened on the front and sides with three glass doors, with a small key, while on the back from a wooden door. The dial is in gilded bronze, on which the hours are marked in Roman and Arabic numerals, while the mechanism is a chimes that sounds the hours and half hours. The mechanism was also reassembled, around the early 19th century, with a "parigina" movement. The case is of exquisite refinement, as it is characterized by geometric and faunal inlays, which recall deer and bull's heads, and which give great elegance. Finally, there are gilded bronze decorations in the upper part, as well as the handle. This clock is an object of great taste and refinement, capable of furnishing any environment with class. Roman manufacture of the late seventeenth century, with restorations. Measurements: H x W x D 48 x 30.5 x 22cm  Translated
