Description:
A delightful English drop-front desk with three drawers from the late 19th century, made of mahogany wood, finely inlaid on the edges with rosewood and a shell inlay on the door. The drop-front opens to reveal various compartments and two small drawers inside.
What makes this piece particularly interesting is its unusual size.
The furniture shows signs of wear and age on its patina. There is a stain on the top surface (see photo).
