WHITE MARBLE TEMPLE CLOCK, SECOND HALF OF THE 18TH CENTURY  Translated
Description:
Exquisite temple clock in white marble with gilded bronze decorations. The latter include plant spirals, mythological figures, masks and cornucopias, which refer to classical antiquity; as does the pendulum in the typical shape with a radiant head. On the dial, the hours are marked in Roman numerals, while the mechanism is working and strikes the hours and half hours. This is a beautifully crafted clock, able to enrich any environment with elegance and class. French manufacture from the neoclassical period, second half of the 18th century. Measurements: H x W x D 42 x 26.5 x 9cm  Translated
