NAPOLEON III FLOWER BOX IN FINE WOOD AND GILT BRONZE, MID-19TH CENTURY

Elegant inlaid flower box, veneered in rosewood and other fine woods. Rectangular in shape, it features rounded sides decorated with refined geometric inlays. The four corners are decorated with gilded bronze vegetal elements. On one of the long sides, in the center, is placed a Sèvres porcelain plaque decorated with a bouquet of flowers, while on the other side there is a refined geometric composition. Inside, a galvanized tray is surrounded by a cast and chased iron gallery. France, Napoleon III, mid-19th century. Measurements: H x W x D 34.5 x 21.5 x 16.5 cm
