PAIR OF LATE 19TH CENTURY POLYCHROME PORCELAIN PITCHERS
Description:
Refined pair of polychrome painted and gilded porcelain pitchers. The pitchers feature a globular body and a wavy, everted rim. The body and neck are painted blue, which gives elegance, enriched by floral decorations of pink and white roses. The handles, base and rim details are instead gilded, to give further richness. French manufacture, probably Limoges, from the end of the 19th century.
