Exceptional pair of wooden sculptures depicting a triptych of dolphins, with intertwined bodies and tails joined to form a single slender support. The bases, carved and lacquered to resemble rock, lend solidity and theatricality to the composition. The work, created in Filippo Parodi's workshop, dates back to the late 17th century and fully expresses the Genoese Baroque taste for dynamism, elegance and decorative opulence.
