Elegant three-drawer bedside table, likely from the Roman area, made in central Italy in the mid-eighteenth century. The furniture has a soft and harmonious line: the front is shaped with a slight “S” movement, while the sides are gently canted, creating a profile of great balance. The top, as well as the fronts and sides, is embellished with walnut briar panels enclosed within refined rosewood threads, according to a decorative taste typical of central Italian production. The interiors of the drawers, in poplar, confirm the origin of the area. From a structural point of view, the furniture is well preserved: it only has a restoration to one leg and small consolidation interventions, compatible with age and not compromising the quality and authenticity of the piece.
