Vienna 1815-20 approx. Circle of Joseph Danhauser or perhaps himself. Of remarkable rarity, extraordinary extendable table with patina, which preserves the intact mechanical telescopic extension mechanisms and a good part of the original support wheels. It is finely veneered in blond walnut feather with a warm original patina that reflects a warm, almost "golden" light. Elegant maple threads run along all sides and edges of the entire surface (including the extensions). It can be extended to three length levels by inserting the three extensions together or individually. When closed it measures cm. 124.5x124.5, high cm.78. In the various opening measurements it measures at the first level cm. 124.5 x cm.212. with two extensions it measures cm. 283.5. With three extensions in maximum extension it reaches cm. 372.5. Restored and consolidated with a conservative/integrative criterion according to ancient art in later times. With shellac finish applied with museum standard technique; patina and signs of use corresponding to antiquity.
