Large Deruta basin with noble coat of arms (46cm diameter x 10cm h)

Interesting and rare Deruta basin datable to the second half of the seventeenth century and belonging to a high-ranking family located in central Italy. Both the sumptuous effigy and the decorations that fill the wide brim are of remarkable decorative quality and alternate vivid orange, blue and manganese green colors. The basin-shaped and large-sized ceramic measures 46cm in diameter and 10cm in height. The ceramic is in excellent condition and shows no breakages or feillures. We attach a certificate of authenticity to the sale.
