Louis XVI Piedmontese chest of drawers constructed with various woods, measuring 82 x 66 x 39 cm in maximum depth.
Elegant chest of drawers from the last quarter of the 18th century. The piece, of rare refinement, features a semi-circular structure with a tripartite front and three drawers in the center. The wooden sides, without drawers, integrate perfectly into the curved design of the piece.
Veneered in rosewood, palisander, and exotic woods, expertly arranged with threads of precious woods that highlight the refined marquetry. The top is made of shaped marble that adheres to the half-moon shape of the piece.
The fluted truncated pyramid feet terminate with bronze tips, lending balance and momentum to the structure.
