Antique and rare Sardinian vest from the late 1800s in brocade made on a loom with stylized floral motifs

Description: Antique and delightful Sardinian brocade vest characterized by a rich stylized floral motif, shaped with tabs at the bottom and finished with golden edging. Handcrafted on a loom in the late 1800s; it is part of a traditional Sardinian dress and shows an intricate weave of threads of different colors, clearly visible in photo n°8: blue, light blue, yellow, cream and orange predominate, with the latter acting as a background. The inner lining is in a less than optimal state of conservation due to its age.
